Classic Rock is proud to premiere the latest video from Black Star Riders. View Hey Judas below.

It’s taken from their debut album All Hell Breaks Loose, which was released to acclaim last week, and which Classic Rock debuted.

Despite only have just begun their recording career, frontman Ricky Warwick says they’re in for the long haul, with more studio sessions an important part of the plan. He reports: “Kevin Shirley captured an energy and attitude that does not sound like anyone else. Yes, we have a connection to Thin Lizzy – but I do think we have a unique sound, which I really love and I don’t see the point of changing that.

“I like to think we’ll keep recording the best songs we can, keep the sound that we have and try to develop it even more.”

All Hell Breaks Loose is on sale now via Nuclear BlastiTunes and Amazon. BSR play the Download Festival this weekend and tour the UK and Ireland later in the year.

Black Star Riders are pleased to announce their addition to this year’s Download Festival line up.

The band, featuring Ricky Warwick (Vocals), Scott Gorham (Guitar), Marco Mendoza (Bass) and Damon Johnson (Guitar) from the last Thin Lizzy line up, together with Drummer Jimmy DeGrasso (Megadeth / Alice Cooper) released their debut album “All Hell Breaks Loose” on Nuclear Blast Entertainment Worldwide last week to phenomenal critical acclaim and a UK National album chart debut at 25.

The band play the festival on Saturday June 15th on the main stage and take the slot previously allotted to US band Buckcherry, who cancelled their performance for reasons beyond their control.

Download Promoter Andy Copping “The BSR Machine is going from strength to strength and when the opportunity of a slot became available it was a no brainer who should be offered it …and we are very happy to have Black Star Riders on the bill this year”

Ricky Warwick “Download is one of my favourite festivals and to be added to the main stage bill for this year with such a fantastic line up ….well to say we are ecstatic is an understatement.  It’s going to be a great day and thanks to all the support from everyone that’s contributed to our success to date”

Tickets are still available for this years event at www.downloadfestival.co.uk in both weekend and one day formats.
